Make an Appointment

To make an appointment with an advisor, log onto Blackboard (learn.uark.edu), click on “UASuccess” on the top right corner, and select your preferred advisor on the top, left-hand side.

(If you are not currently listed as a Fulbright student: Click on “Success Network” on top left corner, go to the second page and click on “Advising: J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences”, and select the appropriate advisor from the list (it may take the list a moment to appear).

Make an Appointment
Students who are transferring to the UA with a major in Fulbright College should make an appointment to meet with Teresa Scott. Below is a list of items to complete in order to be ready for advising.

  1. Make sure you have been completely admitted to the UofA and that you have indicated your intention to matriculate (http://admissions.uark.edu)
  2. Make sure all your completed transfer work has been posted to your ISIS student center (http://isis.uark.edu > click "Other Academic" and scroll down to "Course History")
  3. Make sure your immunization records have been turned in to the Pat Walker Health Center (fax: 479-575-7789).
  4. If all the above has been completed, you are ready for advising. Call 479-575-3307 to schedule an appointment with Teresa Scott. Bring a copy of your current transcript if you are taking courses this semester.
  5. Use the Fulbright Transfer Student Checklist as your pre-advising guide!

My courses didn’t transfer the way I think they should, what do I do?
Petition “D” grades
You can petition up to 6 hours of “D” grades to potentially work toward your degree.

Petition for Equivalency This form allows you to petition courses currently evaluated and posted as 99T courses for UA equivalency.
